I. Since its establishment in 1971, our foundation has primarily served individuals with burn injuries and facial disfigurements (such as those with birthmarks, neurofibromatosis, etc.). We provide rehabilitation, psychological counseling, financial assistance, and employment services to patients and their families to alleviate their physical and mental stress, aiming to help them reintegrate into society after treatment and maintain their quality of life.

II. According to a 2019 survey on appearance-related attitudes and experiences conducted by our foundation in Taiwan, 1 in 7 people has experienced unfriendly treatment due to their appearance. Individuals with physical feature concerns are significantly more likely to experience unfriendly treatment compared to those without, with 35.6% reporting negative impacts such as damaged self-confidence. Therefore, our foundation offers support services to children and their families who have unique marks on any part of their body due to neurofibromatosis, melanoma, birthmarks, or hemangiomas.

III. To ensure our new services are widely known and to fulfill our societal responsibility, we are writing to provide details. We kindly request that your school's teachers and staff assist in informing parents of children who may need these services.
